Club Pilates ramps up studios rollout
Club Pilates ramps up studios rollout, signing multiple agreements across three major states, taking the fitness chain closer to its growth target of 50 outlets within 10 years.
Lawrence Boyle, director of development at Club Pilates Australia, said “We are already on track to exceed our planned rollout of five new studios per year. By the end of our first year we should have 10 studios in operation.”
Boyle said it’s ‘business as usual’ as Aussies return to their fitness regimes post-lockdown.
“As the lingering impact of Covid is decreasing in each state membership is rising quickly. There appears to be a pent-up demand from people to get back to what they love with very little encouragement needed.”
Brendan James, CEO of Club Pilates Australia, brought the brand over to Australia from the US early in 2021.
He said “We are seeing an influx of franchise inquiries – many from Australians returning from the US where they have seen how successful and effective the model is in practice.”
Right now Club Pilates has three operational studios in Queensland and is actively seeking single and multi-unit franchisees for sites including two or three A-grade locations in the capital cities of all five states:
- QLD – Fortitude Valley, Garden City & Chermside
- NSW – Randwick, Castle Hill & Brookvale
- VIC – Brighton, Caufield & Hampton
- SA – Norwood & Glenelg
- WA – East Perth, West Perth, Claremont
Worldwide, Club Pilates has more than 1000 studios licensed – the business began in the US in 2007.
