Global gym brand group Lift Brands is continuing to see growth in its network of Snap Fitness and 9Round clubs across Australia and New Zealand. The group is predicting a 25 per cent increase in franchises between December 2021 and the end of 2025.

Lift Brands APAC CEO Chris Caldwell (pictured) said, “The fitness industry globally has been through a challenging period over the last few years but recent recognition such as the Best Fitness Franchise globally and the best fitness/wellness company in Asia Pacific is testament to the effort, commitment and dedication of our network.

“Our franchise team is one of the best in the world, living up to our ONETEAM mentality of feeling supported and excited about the brand. The ONETEAM ethos is supported by the fact that our franchisees’ success is our success.”

Caldwell, who was named Executive of the Year at The Fit Summit Awards 2022, expects the group’s leading gym brand, Snap Fitness, to welcome 18 new franchises across Australia and New Zealand in 2022.

“Snap Fitness will achieve a key milestone in 2022 by opening its 300th club,” he said. “New franchisees are joining the team and existing franchisees are expanding their portfolios. By 2025, we expect to see an additional 65 franchises open across Australia and New Zealand.”

A five star rating

Snap Fitness has been awarded a five star rating on the Australian Franchise Rating Scale by research and franchise business intelligence firm FRANdata.

“Our tried and tested business model means franchisees are stepping into a well-developed, structured business they can mould into their own,” Caldwell said. “As part of a global group of brands, franchisees have access to support in location sourcing, initial and ongoing training, and business development, with the chance to attend events such as the Lift Brands APAC Summit. This year we saw more than 500 delegates come together to make connections and take away the learnings, drive and passion to go from good to great.”
