Megasealed founder Jacques Courtain has been awarded for his 25 years in the business.

Courtain was recognised for his achievements alongside the brand’s top-performing franchisees at the first annual convention after the pandemic.

The awards evening acknowledged 16 winners across multiple categories including Consultant of the Year, Tech of the Year and National Sales Performance.

Courtain said the convention “has always been an opportunity for our franchisees to network, learn and reinvigorate their approach to business operations”.

He said “After what has been a challenging 24 months, this year’s conference provided an important opportunity for our network to reflect how we were able to adapt during this time and how we can continue to ensure Megasealed’s future success”.

Megasealed provides professional services to home and business owners, corporations, hospitals and government departments.

Despite starting the brand in 1996 Courtain only launched franchise operations six years ago. Now the business operates through 34 franchises who complete more than 18,000 jobs each year, across the country.

Reflecting last year on a long tenure in the business, Courtain told Inside Franchise Business ExecutiveThe day I’m not passionate or have no vision, I’ll retire,” he said.

The Megasealed convention celebrated winners from the past two years, with the Newcastle franchisee Tina Cicolini scooping up the most awards.
