Ninja Parc expands with first Melbourne location
Ninja Parc is forging ahead with expansion plans for 2021 and will open its first Melbourne venue on 16 January in Bayswater.
The indoor obstacle course concept, owned by Belgravia Group, has proved resilient through Covid, with eight new sites expected to launch in 2021 despite recent lockdowns.
New business manager Magdalena Schoeman said “After lock downs we were back at full capacity within two weeks. Because of our drop-in model, we didn’t have too many issues with capacity which meant
business as usual for our franchisees. ”
Schoeman said the last four weeks have seen a 79 per cent increase from the school holiday program.
The new 13- 17 Burton Court Bayswater location expands the Ninja Parc network to Victoria and
follows the opening of centres in Townsville and Newcastle, with the next set for the greater
Sydney metro area.
“A big part of it is in the shutdown, people were craving a new market. People stuck indoors need to be outdoors and interact. This is a natural progression from climbing and park-based work. It’s a good way for the body to move, and people are looking for new activities.
“Our vision is to inspire a world of movement. We plan to launch Ninja Parc in as many regional and metro locations as possible to bring affordable, safe and fun activities to all.”
The business concept launched in 2017.
“The main reason was that we wanted to inspire more people to get active,” said Pirlo.
