Pizza Hut kiosks roll out in service stations
Pizza Hut Australia is expanding its footprint by rolling out kiosks on service-station forecourts, in partnership with Euro Garages.
According to Pizza Hut, the launch is part of the company’s strategy to take a larger slice of food-on-the-go consumer spending, and reclaiming its marketshare-leading position from rivals.
The brand has just opened its second kiosk in a Liverpool-based service station in Sydney’s west. Pizza Hut’s first kiosk was opened in Kingswood, NSW and a third is scheduled to open early this year.
The initiative is backed by turnaround and transformation specialist Allegro Funds.
“This partnership will create further accessibility of the brand outside of online ordering, delivery and standard bricks and mortar, to take advantage of the high footfall kiosks visited by hungry travellers,” said Chester Moynihan, founder and MD of Allegro Funds and chairman of Pizza Hut Australia.
“We have already had a great response to the kiosks and look forward to seeing how it goes during this busy travel period, as people return to the roads post-holiday break,” said Phil Reed, CEO of Pizza Hut Australia.
