Retail Food Group appoints head of corporate store operations
Retail Food Group has announced the appointment of Tom Elliott as head of corporate store operations.
Elliott has been with the business 11 years, including his most recent stint as the general manager role at RFG brand Donut King.
In his new role, Elliott will lead corporate operations and 350+ team members across Retail Food Group’s portfolio of company-owned stores, ensuring a consistent drive of outstanding customer experience across the group.

“I’m excited to work closely with our corporate portfolio which will allow the group to understand first hand the challenges and issues our franchise partners face on a day to day basis so we can collectively work through systematic solutions that are mutually beneficial between franchisor and franchisee,” Elliott said.
A key part of the role will be to work closely with store teams, from young workers that are experiencing their first job, through to experienced store managers looking for the next step in their career.
“Our ambition is to foster a culture that empowers our people and delivers on their expectations for career development opportunities,” he said.
Elliott told Inside Franchise Business Executive he will continue to head up the Donut King business until a replacement GM is appointed.
Growth is expected for the doughnut brand, which last year introduced its mobile van operation.
For RFG’s first half reported in March, overseas business had been the saviour, boosting results for the multi-brand business.
