Silk Laser Australia clinics hit big milestone ahead of schedule
Recently listed Silk Laser Australia has reached its key milestone of 60 clinics with the opening of the latest outlet at Charlestown, Newcastle in New South Wales.
A further two outlets are expected to open in June for the chain of non-surgical clinics, putting it ahead of its ASX prospectus forecast of 60 clinics by 30 June 2021.
Not only was the new store a landmark opening, its first-day sales beat the network’s record.
Silk’s managing director and co-founder, Martin Perelman, said “The Charlestown clinic in Newcastle is off to a flying start, recording Silk’s highest opening day of sales on record. We are fortunate to have Anna, an experienced nurse injector with a strong existing client base, onboard to lead our newest clinic, and I am confident that she will be successful in her new venture.”
The new Charlestown clinic operates under the joint venture ownership model with a cosmetic injectable nurse, Anna Crossingham, as the joint venture partner.
“We are very excited to launch our newest injector-led clinic in Charlestown. The joint venture ownership model offers the injector nurses an attractive entry into business ownership while allowing us to attract key talent to Silk and deliver strong clinic performance from day-one.,” said Perelman.
