The Sporting Globe parent snaps up All Hands brewery
The Signature Hospitality Group has acquired the microbrewery All Hands Brewing House.
This is the first Sydney venue for the group, which is the franchisor for The Sporting Globe bar and casual dining chain.
James Sinclair, CEO, Signature Hospitality Group, said of the acquisition on LinkedIn “We’ve seen a boom in craft beer over the past few years and are excited about the exceptional beers being produced onsite. Last year the brewery won both the State Champion Independent Brewery (NSW) and the Inaugural Champion Australian Independent Brewpub.
“With a strong passion for great beer, high-quality food and sports entertainment, All Hands Brewing House aligns with our values and we plan to continue to offer the same great quality under the Signature Hospitality Group.”
The microbrewery is located on popular dining strip Kings Street Wharf at Darling Harbour, serving up pub food and craft beers.
The Sporting Globe parent
Signature Hospitality Group has had a successful launch of two mega The Sporting Globe outlets, the double opening late last year as the brand celebrated a decade in business.
The Sporting Globe began its franchise journey back in 2013 and since then it has expanded from its Melbourne base to both Queensland and Western Australia, and has more expansion in the works.
The sports bar and grill operation now numbers 15 restaurants, a mix of corporate-owned and franchised.
And the chain is upping the stakes yet again. The largest venue so far, which will outsize the mega venues recently unveiled, is scheduled to open its doors in Chirnside Park, Victoria, later in 2020.
Over the last 12 months The Sporting Globe has backed itself with heavy investment into technology, improving customer experience and enhancing franchisee performance.
Franchise recruitment manager David Sinclair said “Adaptation of technology into our venues to help engage our customers and enhance the experience is critical to future success.”
