A stellar line-up of judges will be evaluating the entries for the 2021 Top 30 Franchise Executives.

In 1982 Denis McFadden’s ‘no appointment $6 Style Cut’ promotion was the foundation for the Just Cuts concept.

The first Just Cuts opened in Engadine, NSW in 1990 and remains a successful Just Cuts business. Today, 30 years later and with 220+ salons across Australia, New Zealand and the UK, Denis continues to innovate and mentor the franchise community. He is a member of the FCA Hall of Fame.

Karen is the Group CEO of craveable brands., home to nearly 600 restaurants under three iconic Australian chicken brands: Red Rooster, Oporto and Chicken Treat. 

Karen has worked in some of Australia’s most recognised retail brands: Woolworths, BIG W, Caltex and Rebel Sport, having been the CFO, COO, GM of Strategy, GM of Transformation and Replenishment in these public, private and private equity organisations. Karen is passionate about retail, people and diversity.

Genevieve Saleh

Genevieve Saleh, 7-Eleven franchisee

Genevieve Saleh is an experienced franchisee having spent more than four years operating her 7-Eleven store at Carrara South with husband Rob.

She has been recognised in the 7-Eleven network through not only the outstanding offer she provides to her customers and the contribution she makes to the network, but also her commitment to her local community.

Prior to becoming a franchisee, Genevieve worked in the banking industry and also in providing support to people living with a disability.

Warren D’Cruz

Warren D’cruz, Auto Masters franchisee

Warren has been a franchisee with Auto Masters for 14 years and now owns five outlets. He has won multiple awards and in 2019 was named FCA Multi Unit Franchisee of the Year.

Warren takes an active role in supporting and coaching franchisees. Since 2015, he has raised money for cancer research in the MACA Perkins Cancer 200km bike ride, leading a growing team of riders from Auto Masters and raising just under $200,000.

Anthony Cannell

As managing director of Franchise Relationships Institute Anthony leads FRI’s business strategy and global expansion program and is a dynamic entrepreneur with over 30 years franchising experience in the travel, coaching and hospitality industries.

He has consulted with businesses across a wide range of industries and held senior roles in both large established international brands as well as emerging entrepreneurial businesses, driving change and extraordinary business results.

Josh Cairns

Josh is the founder and CEO of franchisor software business Op Central, which helps franchisors reduce their operational overhead while supporting franchisees with the resources they need.

Bruce McFarlane

Bruce is CEO of the BlueRock Group, a multi-disciplinary entrepreneurial advisory firm that helps people to operate and grow successful businesses and achieve their personal goals. ​ 

He is also MD of BlueRock Law and leader of the firm’s M&A team and Franchising, Retail & Distribution team and a a director of BDC Partners, a retail and franchising advisor business. 

Bruce has been an elected member of the Victorian State Chapter Committee of the Franchise Council of Australia for over 10 years.
